peanut butter protein balls
this has easily become a favorite little sweet snack of ours.
it’s not technically “healthy”, but there are so many boosts of protein, fats and fiber, so there’s that ㋡
INGREDIENTS :
- dry oats
- peanut butter
- chocolate chips
- chocolate(or vanilla)protein powder
- syrup or honey
- hemp, chia, or flaxseed(i put them all in)
add vanilla paste or extract for all the extra yummy flavor things
DIRECTIONS :
- in a medium size mixing bowl you’re going to add
1 cup dry oats
1 cup peanut/nut butter of choice
handful of chocolate chips(you can add or take away based on your own preference)
1 scoop of protein powder
1 - 2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup
a decent pinch of seeds of choice
if you choose to add vanilla — you’ll just add to taste
- mix together until fully incorporated, set in fridge to cool down, form into balls & voila. enjoy!
the best part of this whole thing is that you get to make it your own. add, take away, leave as is… you won’t really mess
it up!
